My father, Claude Brewer, who was born in Sunderland is looking for someone. Claude now lives in Johannesburg and has been there for 60 years.
His father, Joel Brewer, was a cousin to Dora Hurwitz, mother of Judge Vivian Hurwitz.
My dad Claude is 89 years old and I am travelling with him to Israel soon [February 2011]. He is trying to contact as many of his ‘landsman’ as possible who are still around.
Also, does anyone know Mark Compton, originally from Leeds and lived in Rehovot? My dad thinks he may be living on a kibbutz with his daughter, but unfortunately he does not know the daughter’s name. Reeva Metz [email protected]
